Colorado Enterprise Fund (CEF) is a non-profit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) small business lender committed to helping entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses. We typically focus on access to capital for startups, low-income, minorities, veterans, women, low-wealth, or underserved areas across Colorado. Basically, we help fill the gap between conventional lenders and high-interest credit card/payday-type loans.
We know telling a client “no” is difficult, so refer them to CEF! We work with entrepreneurs that are start-ups, have limited collateral, tighter cash flow, or lower credit scores. We provide capital but also business coaching to put entrepreneurs on a path to “bankability.”
