After attending culinary school, David Bravdica spent nine months in Italy, fine-tuning his art of making simple, yet astounding gourmet pizza. Today you can find his custom built wood fired pizza cart on the 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver. While David gracefully tosses his handmade dough, he will extol the virtues of using the freshest ingredients from dedicated local sources.
Colorado Enterprise Fund involvement
CEF helped launch Brava! Pizzeria Della Strada, providing start-up funding for things like the trailer licensing and registration, marketing and some initial inventory. David has also taken advantage of CEF's business advisory services, including accounting and bookkeeping, online marketing, and legal services.
Future plans for Brava! include building a fleet of pizza carts to grow the catering and special events side of the business. Adds David, "I would also like to use my business to raise awareness of buying local and promoting healthy eating habits for children."
