News from the Executive
Director - Ceyl Prinster
Due to a record pace of lending, CEF
recently closed on $750,000
in new loan capital. This is our 6th round of funding from the SBA
Microloan Program. This money will be available for CEF to loan to
businesses when CEF raises the non-federal matching funds required for
the program. The State of Colorado recently helped with some matching
funds in a $50,000 grant
from the Economic Development Commission under a program administered by
CAMI - the Colorado Association for Microenterprise Initiatives. "We
are fortunate to be able to access public sector resources that will help
build our local economy", said Ceyl Prinster, CEF Executive
Director.
